Terms:
Breach and Clear-Breach and Clear is a maneuver commonly used to enter a room with several hostiles inside. This maneuver consists of placing a small explosive, such as c4, on the door to the room and detonating it. This would eliminate any locks and allow for access to the room.

Flash and clear- Flash and clear is a maneuver similar to Breach and Clear. Flash and Clear is when a tactical squad opens a door to a room of hostiles and tosses in a flash bang grenade. When the grenade detonates it would leave all inside temporarily blinded.
